"The Dance Movement Therapy research register consists of brief information about selected studies completed in Europe on the topic and is currently under re-development.

Criteria

A study is included in the research register if it: :

• Contributes to knowledge or understanding of DMT
• Has clearly defined overall aims, objectives, research questions and/or hypotheses
• There is a clear description of methodology, research methods and analysis (both qualitative and quantitative research perspectives will be considered)
• All claims in the text are adequately referenced.
• All sections within the form that are relevant to the study are completed.

(Note that above criteria have been agreed at the meeting of the European Network for Dance Movement Therapy in Stockholm, June 2004)

In the first instance, regional research reps are responsible for collecting information about studies in each European country before they are approved for publication on this website. If you are interested in the register beyond what is currently published, regional reps are the first point of reference (contact details can be found through professional associations for Dance Movement Therapy in the country of your interest)
